Governments and organizations around the world are acting to manage the effects of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. I am writing to all our HASTUS clients to let you know how GIRO is responding to this international crisis and how we will continue to support your implementation and use of HASTUS.
Our primary concern is for the wellbeing of our clients and employees while we strive to deliver the best service possible under these challenging circumstances.
Meetings involving travel
As the situation is evolving rapidly, to minimize the risks to our clients and staff, we are cancelling all travel by GIRO personnel for at least the next two weeks. We will re-evaluate the situation regularly to determine when travel can resume. Where it is possible and convenient for our clients, scheduled meetings may be held by teleconference or videoconference.
Clients who had planned to travel to GIRO’s offices or who were to be visited by GIRO staff will be contacted shortly by your GIRO Project Manager or Account Manager to discuss alternative arrangements. We will continue to do everything we can to minimize the impacts on your projects.
Helping you meet your challenges
As the situation evolves, our HASTUS clients may face unusual operational and scheduling challenges, whether mandated by the authorities or from changes in travel patterns or the availability of staff. Your GIRO team stands ready to advise you on the best use of HASTUS to support your operations as these challenges unfold.
Our thoughts go out to all those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated. Please also check our website for the latest information.
Sincerely,
Jean Aubin
President and CEO
