COOKIES GUIDELINES

To make our website work properly, we sometimes place small data files called “cookies” on your device.

IMPORTANT: These Guidelines apply to the use of cookies on GIRO’s website. In connection with our use of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft may store cookies on the computers or mobile devices of GIRO’S customers and prospects. For more information, please click here.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the website. Cookies are useful as they enable the website to remember you, your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the website or browse from one page to another.

Cookies can also be used to analyze and establish anonymized statistics about your use of our website. They can only be read by the website that transmits them to your computer.

When you visit GIRO’s website, you will be prompted to accept or refuse cookies.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies for a variety of purposes, including remembering your preferences, tracking users' movements around our website, enabling you to move between web pages more efficiently, helping us understand how our website is used so that we can improve its performance, and record information about your visit to help target advertising and content specific to you.

What types of cookies are used by GIRO and how long are they stored on my device?

Internal cookies are cookies set by GIRO, and only we can read them. In addition, our website also uses third-party services that use their own cookies, known as third-party cookies (in our case, Google, Microsoft, YouTube, Cookiebot and SmartRecruiters as listed below).

Persistent cookies are those that are stored on your computer or mobile device and are not deleted automatically when you exit your browser, unlike session cookies which are temporary and remain on your device until you close your web browser.

Cookie Guidelines last updated on 07/07/2024.

We use the following types of cookies:
